Good video, for those of us that rather not make a desulfator viewers may want try a PulseTech PowerPulse passive battery desulfator, Pulse Tech claims that their patented frequency they use can extend the life of a battery up to three times. Noco Genius 5 and 10, and CTEK battery chargers have a repair mode that I believe use 16 volt pulses to desulfate a battery.

My first mini bike was by a manufacture that I never found out who it was, my neighbor sold it to me without an engine, and used it to deliver newspapers. One of my customers one day asked if I wanted to buy his Bonanza mini-bike also with out a motor and heavily corroded front suspension forks, that I had re-chromed and installed a Briggs and Straten 5 HP engine in it, after changing the rear gear I was able to go 40 mph top speed.

Dude u dont even koww how to use the software , 1 u spinn the motor sloww unthill red turns green, only then u can exalorate. And u need to fit the red FITdata over the green Raw data otherweise u just get the powerkurfe of symple dyno and not the power kurve of ur bike

Motor won't run, so I was thinking of getting a couple alternator and mount them inside the case at 48v with 2 contollers. Do u think there is a way to control speed of both motors at the same time with one throttle?

My friend . The reason that it has the high 120 volts DC WHEN NOT CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY IT IS DUE TO THE Capacitors which will adjust to the voltage of the battery you hook to. Like if you had a 50 v DC forklift battery it will stop at the voltage that the battery is now it will adjust to a 1.5 volt AA battery and charger at that voltage . And what amp is configured with the cap or several capacitors wired in the charger. I've charged watch batteries all the way up to a home off grid battery bank that needed maintenance to keep in proper working order.

This a misleading title. It's not a brushless motor. You keep the brushes on the rotor.

I want to do this but retain the battery charging capabilities of the alternator, essentially making a starter/alternator out of it. The project is to build a gas-powered battery charger for an ATV-powered golf cart build I'm working on. Unfortunately, the stator in the engine isn't strong enough to maintain charge with all the accessories I want to run, and I can't find a better stator for my engine. Anyway, I want to use a 2½hp engine I already own to spin the alternator, and because space is limited and I can't find a starter for it, I want the alternator to start the engine then switch to charging the battery. I'm thinking three 5-pin relays wired to a button can switch the 3 coil wires from the rectifier to the speed controller, and back when the button is released.

Do you have hall effect on this motor? I have found without it the motor seems to only work within a specific amount of power range and not at high speeds. I am looking to power a tricycle I have with this setup. I plan on making it a permanent magnet motor.

Thats what it is called in electrical theory. I prefer not to use the hole theory as it has problems but most people get it ok.

Im not sure, i actually can't recall the process, so I'll suggest some research, sorry I'm no good there, but I'm definitely sure about chainsaw cases, automotive pistons, small 2 stroke equipment cases pistons and outer cylinders, inner cylinders have a nichrome electrofusion or cast in ductile iron liner you'll want to fish out of the molten aluminum or secure and suspend the sleeve from the inside so you can extract it

This idea just crossed my mind this morning as I have a lawn tractor project I’m working on and an old Kawasaki 305 thats just in my way and I don’t really feel like fixing but has a perfect motor with almost no miles, well now that I saw this there is zero doubt in my mind about what I’m doing with it. I don't understand this. I do understand how a capacitive dropper works, but surely the waveform from the bridge rectifier used to charge the battery will be the same as from an old-fashioned simple transformer + bridge rectifier charger? How is this better at desulphating?

To make soft aluminium more machinable add about 4% copper { or brass ] Although it has a higher melting temperature it will' 'dissolve' into the melt. Having run a foundry primarily using scrap aluminium including tons of cans this does the trick without being too precise.

Some big igbt bricks, would probably do it, I'd go to 48v, and put a blower fan on it, to keep it cool, it will pull about 2x the current as 36v, maybe make a manual contactor, to change directions, or use breakers, setup to change directions, this thing should run on dc and ac if the polarity doesn't matter, like a universal motor, I have a few fork lift motors, I was thinking ev conversation, then I'm thinking electric compact tractor, using either brushless motors for the mower. Or another series wound forklift motor for the whole deck, all the blades, possibly 4, on a 60" deck, 60"-72" with a gear box, to get reverse, and at least 3ranges, 2wirking speeds, and one traveling gear, so 4gears forward would be better, 6better than good,
